Kelly Leigh Dern

Kelly Dern is a Senior Staff Product Designer at SoFi, where she helps shape how millions of people experience personal finance— including AI-powered products that need to be trustworthy, clear, and human-centered.

Before SoFi, she worked on Gemini for Meet at Google, along with Google Nest, startups, and Adidas, on product and UX work spanning AI-assisted experiences, hardware–software integration, and health tech. She received a Google Product Excellence Award for Inclusive Design Works, an interactive experience that simulates different impairments.

Kelly speaks and teaches on AI UX, inclusive design, and product craft, and advises teams building products people can actually use.
